Recycle, Repurpose, Reuse
The ReStore is a materials recycling center and home improvement store that sells new and used materials to the public at below retail prices. By accepting materials donated by the public that still have some use left in them, the ReStore helps Taos County go green by keeping these items out of the landfill. The ReStore encourages recycling, repurposing, and reusing as much as possible, and they provide a wide variety of ideas on their Facebook page at https://facebook.com/TaosReStore.
The ReStore’s mission is to RECYCLE donated materials and items from individuals and businesses, RESELL these items to the public at a reduced cost, and then REINVEST the profits into Habitat for Humanity of Taos to help REBUILD lives through building homes for needy and qualified individuals and families.
